What’s your experience in the vape industry, and what do you focus on now?

I manage a GreetVape store in Liverpool, backed by 8 years in retail. I started vaping to quit smoking and stayed for the flavours and the tech. It’s like building a playlist; everyone has their own mix. Now I handle staffing, suppliers, and trends, making sure customers find what suits their style, not just what’s popular.

In what part of vaping do you consider yourself a vape expert?

I tend to focus on the regulatory side, particularly UK vape law updates, product packaging rules, and other such concerns. It’s not always exciting, but it matters. If a vaping product is banned or a new labelling requirement is coming in, someone must explain that in plain terms. That’s what I try to do.

How do you maintain your authority and stay informed about industry changes?

I follow government consultations, UKVIA announcements, and trade news regularly. As the manager of a vape shop, I also get updates from suppliers and compliance reps, so I usually hear things early. Then it’s a case of translating that into language that customers and even staff can actually use.

What sets your perspective apart, and why should readers trust you?

I’m not just reading headlines, I’m implementing the changes myself. If new vaping rules and regulations are coming, I’m adjusting stock, retraining staff, and updating signage. That hands-on side means I can explain what a new rule really means for the average vaper walking into a shop.
