What’s your experience in the vape industry, and what do you focus on now?

I smoked for eight years before making the switch to vaping, so I understand the journey well. I started in retail at JD Sports, later moving into vape retail after completing a Level 3 customer service apprenticeship. Face-to-face interaction has always been my strength, so working the shop floor at GreetVape in Wallasey suits me. Over the years, I helped everyone from smokers looking to quit, first-time vapers, and those wanting to upgrade their setup.

What’s your area of vape expertise?

My expertise lies in reviewing vaping products based on what customers ask me. If I get the same question five times a day, like whether a certain pod leaks or how long a coil lasts, I know from experience that it’s worth writing about. I focus on practical reviews and flavour breakdowns that reflect what people genuinely care about.

What kind of authoritative knowledge do you bring that spec sheets don’t?

Specification sheets are good for numbers, but they don’t tell you how something fits in your pocket or whether the mouthpiece feels awkward. Testing things in real settings, with real feedback, gives authority to my writing, so my reviews highlight those small details that make or break a product for regular use.

What makes your advice trustworthy?

The job itself. As a sales assistant at a vape shop, every day I hear what people like, what’s frustrating them, and what they’re confused about. That constant feedback loop keeps me sharp and honest in my interactions with customers and my writing.
